FAQS
GCF is a lean, senior-led firm that combines brand strategy, creative, and production in one team, built to work inside the flow of complex organizations rather than on the sidelines.
We help in‑house teams, brand leaders, and procurement align around one story, then turn that into campaigns and content engines that are fast, flexible, and designed to scale.
We're structured for “less process, more power”: no account services, fewer handoffs and middlemen, and a flat, collaborative model that measures success by outcomes instead of hours or org charts.
In practice, that means GCF is the embedded partner brands call when the work has to be sharper, the system has to hold together, and the existing model is too slow or too siloed to keep up.
You’re not just getting access to big‑agency caliber people, you’re working directly with them. We are the senior leaders who’ve spent years inside large holding‑company networks and global brands, now operating in a smaller, sharper model that keeps us hands‑on instead of hidden behind layers.
That means the same people who’ve run massive portfolios, pitches, and production slates are the ones in your working sessions, shaping the strategy, writing the lines, and making the calls with you.
We’ve led global brand platforms and campaigns across CPG, finance, tech, retail, and hospitality.
We’ve overseen large, integrated teams and multimillion‑dollar production ecosystems—and know how to get that level of work from a leaner setup.
We’ve helped complex organizations navigate stakeholders, regions, and channels, and still land work that actually ships and performs.
At GCF, AI is not an experiment. It's built into how we strategize, produce, and expand creative work from the very beginning.
The clearest expression of that is GCF Afterburn.AI, our AI-native production and post-production system designed to help every shoot create significantly more value than traditional production models.
Afterburn.AI is a connected workflow shaped by GCF's strategy, creative, production, and post-production teams. It influences not only what happens after the cameras stop rolling, but how we plan, cast, design, light, frame, and capture content before production even begins.
Because we understand what AI can reliably transform later, we intentionally shoot differently. We capture modular performances, flexible camera moves, additional coverage, interchangeable wardrobe and props, controlled lighting, and structured production assets that dramatically increase what's possible in post. Every production is designed as a content system rather than a fixed set of deliverables.
That means a single shoot is no longer limited to the exact moments captured on set. Content can be adapted, expanded, resized, localized, versioned, and optimized for different seasons, environments, products, audiences, languages, channels, offers, and performance tests without having to start from scratch. Instead of producing a single campaign, brands gain a flexible creative platform that continues to generate value long after production wraps.
We’re deliberately small and senior.
Our team is spread across cities by choice, because we believe in working with the best people wherever they happen to live. But distributed does not mean disconnected. We work together daily, travel together often, and operate as one tight unit.
Clients do not need more people in more meetings. They need the right people, fully connected, solving the right problems.
GCF is big enough to handle complex work and small enough to stay sharp, accountable, and fast.
We plug in as a small, senior unit that lives in the middle of your world—between brand, in‑house creative, and other partners, so everything feels more connected instead of more crowded. We work inside the flow of your day‑to‑day with no silos, no egos, no handoffs, no inefficiencies. Just one tight team focused on getting to better work, faster.
In practice, that means we add the institutional knowledge of an embedded team with the flexibility and range of an external agency.
We help you clarify the story, build systems your team can actually run, and take on the cross‑functional challenges that are hard to solve from the inside, while keeping your in‑house leaders firmly in the driver’s seat.
We’re built for organizations where complexity is slowing growth: multiple stakeholders, busy in‑house teams, and lots of channels to feed, but not enough time or clarity to connect it all.
Our best clients are leaders who want sharper strategy, faster execution, and a content engine their teams can actually run, without adding more headcount, layers, or meetings.
That tends to include:
Brands with in‑house creative or digital teams that need a stronger story and more scalable systems, not just more assets.
Companies operating across business lines, regions, or product categories that need one narrative to pull everything together.
Challenger brands (or challenger divisions inside big companies) that are ready to test, learn, and scale what works instead of waiting for perfect, slow, campaigns of record.
We’re usually not the best choice if you’re looking for a big, traditional agency, time sheets, and large, layered teams. We’re also not the right fit if you primarily need a media buying partner. We don’t plan or buy media; we focus on the strategy, ideas, and content that make your media spend work harder.
We’re likely not the right fit if:
You want a large on‑site body shop or butts‑in‑seats model instead of a small, senior embedded team.
You mainly need production order‑taking, not a partner to help shape the brand story, platform, and content system.
Your priority is preserving the status quo and checking boxes, rather than testing, learning, and scaling what works.
If you want more process, more bodies, and media buying under one roof, there are better options. If you want a lean, outcome‑obsessed partner to untangle complexity and make the work sharper, that’s where we fit.
Studios are great at execution once someone else has figured out the story. We start earlier and stay later. We help define the brand and campaign platform, then build the content systems and assets that bring it to life across channels.
In practice, that means:
We do strategy, ideas, and production together, so the same team that shapes the narrative is the one making the work.
We’re not just filling orders; we’re designing modular, reusable content engines tied to growth goals, not just deliverable counts.
We don’t do hand‑offs, silos, or egos. The team you start with is the team that carries the work from insight through final asset, which most studios aren’t set up to do.
If you want pure production capacity, a studio is often enough. If you want a partner that can help find the idea, build the system, and then make the work at a high level, that’s where GCF fits.
Most relationships start with one of three short, defined engagements aimed at a specific problem, not a giant agency of record for everything brief. We scope each as a firm‑price project with clear outcomes and timelines so you can see how we think and how we work, without a long‑term commitment on day one.
Brand Therapy: An intensive working session (or series) where we get under the hood of your brand, audience, and competitive space to clarify the story, positioning, and messaging you can rally around.
Growth Fuel Up: A fast strategic workshop that brings key stakeholders into the same room to diagnose where growth is being lost, align on the biggest opportunities, and set a clear direction for campaigns and content.
Creative Sprint: A focused build phase where we turn strategy into tangible output (campaign concepts, content systems, or launch‑ready assets) so your team can see and use the work right away.
From there, we either scale what’s working into larger programs or move into an Always On partnership where we act as an embedded extension of your team for ongoing strategy, creative direction, and content.
We don’t bill by the hour or reward ourselves for dragging things out. We work on firm‑price bids, which means we won’t come back to you for overages once the scope is set. The risk is all ours.
Invoice timing and payment terms are flexible and can be structured to fit your needs, and we can operate under either your MSA or ours.
When you need work beyond the initial scope, we’ll outline it clearly and share a firm estimate upfront for your approval, so you always know exactly what you’re paying for and why.
Our model is built so you’re not penalized if a challenge is complex and we’re not penalized when we solve it fast; we both win when the work works.
